About the SPARA Project
The SPARA Project is an open, public framework designed to help organisations align their services, operations, and governance models to deliver measurable performance and value. It provides a structured, flexible approach to service performance improvement through five interrelated levers: Strategy, People, Architecture, Results, and Alignment.
Originally developed by Dylan Swart, a seasoned IT service transformation leader, SPARA was created to fill the gap between theory-heavy best practices and practical, outcome-driven delivery.
We believe that service excellence is not accidental — it is designed, governed, and evolved through intentional performance alignment.

🎯 Our Mission
To democratise service performance improvement by providing a modern, adaptable, and openly accessible framework that empowers organisations of any size to achieve alignment between strategy, operations, and outcomes.
👥 Leadership
The SPARA Project is led by its Chief Architect, Dylan Swart, and supported by a growing community of practitioners, academics, and partners who believe in the value of open, purpose-built frameworks.
